We take on a very limited number of weddings a year, so it is best to book as early as possible. That way, we are able to give our couples our full attention, plenty of time, and a fully individualized approach to meet the highest standards.

I’ll start by saying this: a day-of venue coordinator is not a substitute for a wedding planner.

I can not stress the differences between the two enough. The venue manager only manages weddings at the venue. They are solely there to make sure the venue team is doing what they need to and managing catering and beverage (if on site).

Unfortunately, this gets misconstrued a lot. They are not involved at all up until the month of. That is NOT enough time for someone to take control of a full wedding and execute it properly. Which is why we always recommended having an independent planner in the mix.

When you hire SKE you are hiring a professional that has experience from all over the north east and many different locations and venues and will bring that experience to make your day all you’ve imagined. Depending on the package, we will help onboard vendors, curate design visions, review contracts, coordinate logistics, vision boards, timelines... The list goes on and on..

SKE works with you according to your specific needs. We have a broad scope of clientele ranging in terms of their preferred involvement– from the very hands-on couple to the take-the-wheel couple. SKE is happy to curate a custom proposal based on your desired approach and we’ll work with you one-on-one to establish the best strategy based on your preferences. We will provide as much support as you wish and will work with you closely to bring your vision to life while alleviating any trace of overwhelm.

You are always in control of your level of control, and that looks differently for every couple. Want to do a few things yourself? Great! Need a little help with some final tasks? Sure! Want to show us your vision and hand us the wheel? You got it. We are here to help at every capacity.
